Deva appointed chief of govt organisation

Music composer Deva got a honour on Saturday, when Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa announced that he was appointed as the president of Tamil Nadu Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram.
According to an official press release, the Chief Minister appointed Deva as the president of the Mandram, while veteran actress Jayalalithaa’s longtime friend Sachu will be the member-secretary.
Circles close to Deva said that the music composer was very happy with the Chief Minister’s announcement. ‘He will do his best for the growth of arts in the State,’ they added.
