Nandita Krishnan takes charge as President

Rtn. Nandita Krishnan assumed charge as the President - Rotary Club of Madras for the year 2011 - 2012. She is only the second lady president of this prestigious club which is 83 years old. The club annually spends over Rs.3 crores towards service projects.The club is also a major donor to the Rotary Foundation and has contributed over USD 52,000 last year.
Nandita Krishnan said at the installation function that her focus would be to continue the several service projects undertaken by the club for the welfare of the under privileged sections of the society and increase membership.
