CHENNAI POLICE OFFICER GETS SCHOLARSHIP

P Thamaraikannan, Central Chennai joint commissioner of police has won Professor Sir Anthony Bottoms Scholarship for his case study on strategic leadership case study which was adjudged the best among the 97 case studies presented at the Mid-Career Training (Phase-IV) for IPS officers across the country conducted from November 23, 2010 to January 14, this year in National Police Academy, Hyderabad.
The training program was conducted in coordination with Cambridge University, UK.
The scholarship is for Mr. P Thamaraikannan to pursue Master’s Degree in Applied Criminology and Police Management at Cambridge University, United Kingdom.
