BE counselling to commence from 1st July

The tentative dates for counselling for admissions to engineering colleges were announced by Anna University. It was mentioned that the general counselling would begin on July 1 and go on till July 31.Counselling for candidates who applied in the sports quota would be held on June 28 while that for differently-abled persons would be conducted on June 29.
Meanwhile, issuing of application forms for various engineering courses began on Wednesday morning.
At several centres, the process began earlier than the scheduled time, considering the crowd of students and their parents. Issuing of application forms was advanced to 8.30am from 9.30am at all counters on the Anna University campus. There were more than 13 counters.

The last date for submitting the filled in application forms is May 29.
