SPECIAL SUMMER FAIR TO OPEN IN APRIL.

Irai Anbu. Tourism Secretary, Government of Tamilnadu announced that  a special summer  fair would be  held from April 15^th, 2010 in Island Grounds. The Tourism Secretary was speaking at closing ceremony of the 36^th India Tourist and Industrial fair, 2010 .The concluded fair had 17 lakhs people visiting  it and the fair netted revenue of Rs 446.48 lakhs and through the fair the Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation had profited to the tune of about Rs 2 Crores..The special fair would offer amusement and cultural entertainments. The visitors can expect to be treated on food varieties from all over the world.
