DIABETES SCREENING FOR OBESITY SCHOOL CHILDREN.

A group of Doctors will undertake
study on School Children of 50 Private, Public and aided schools on the causes
for Obesity, Diabetes and other disorders. The study will include screening
blood samples for Sugar, Blood Pressure, and Cholesterol and Lipid profile.
Apart from this children’s eating habits and other activities will also be
recorded. The study followed by comprehensive recommendations and counseling.
The study is funded by PepsiCo Ltd said Dr Usha Sriram an Endocrinologist.
