Physio-walk 2013 organized by the Bangalore physiotherapists network, on 8th September 2013 at 7:30 AM, Cubbon Park, Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Chief guest Dr.Ashwath Narayan, MLA, Malleshwaram constituency inaugurated the walkathon by flag off the event.
During the Walkathon, more than 1000 Physio doctors participated including senior physiotherapist, physiotherapy academicians from various organizations, colleges, hospitals, and the general public also participated.
World physiotherapy day
World physiotherapy day promoted by “World Confederation for Physical Therapy” (WCPT) a non-profit organization representing 106 countries, more than 350,000 physical therapists worldwide. . The World Physical Therapy day (8th September of every year) is an opportunity for physical therapists from all over the world to raise awareness about the crucial contribution the profession makes to keeping people well, mobile and independent.
