Sri Narasimha Caturdashi at ISKCON

ISKCON Chennai will celebrate Sri Narasimha Caturdashi on Friday, 24th May, 2013. This is day Lord Vishnu as Narasimha emerged out of the pillar that the Asura Hiranyakashipu broke. The Asura King smashed in the pillar after he got enraged that his son Prahalad, a devotee of the Lord, said that He is everywhere, even in the pillar.
The program will start with Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Yagam at 4.00pm, followed by Abhishekam at 6.00 pm and Kirtan and Arati at 6.30 pm. Prasadam will be distributed at 8.00 pm.
