Sleeper coach at basin Bridge catches fire

A sleeper coach was completely gutted and two other severely damaged at the Basin Bridge Railway Yard on Saturday morning. The yard is the largest in Chennai, located at Chennai Central. Trains come here to be maintained and set right for their journey.
According to reports, the fire started in an AC coach and quickly spread to the sleeper coach. The coach was part of the Chennai – Chappra Express. Fire and Rescue Services came quickly to the site to control the flames. Workers at the yard prevented the fire from spreading.
