Kollywood to fast for SL issue

It is now the turn of the Kollywood film fraternity to lend their heavyweight to the agitations against Sri Lanka. Director M. Ameer who is also the Secretary of Tamil Nadu Film Directors’ Association (TANTIS) has announced that representatives of the industry will fast for the cause outside Valluvar Kottam between 9.00am and 6.00pm on Tuesday. Speaking to the media, he thanked the police force for their security and the Tamil Nadu government for the venue.
The fast will also see representatives of the Tamil Nadu Thiraipada Padalasiriargal Sangam, Film Employees’ Federation of South India (FEFSI), Tamil Nadu Small Screen Producers’ Association, Tamil Film Producers’ Council and Federation of Small Screen Technicians (FSST).
