A sudden price increase for Maruti cars

One of the leading car manufacturers in the country, Maruti, has increased the prices of their car models by up to Rs. 10000.
During the earlier times when only Fiat Ambassador cars were ruling the roost of the passenger car industry, Maruti-Suzuki car factory was set in a joint effort with the Japanese car manufacturer Suzuki and communed a revolutionary change, It is 35 years since the start of Maruti cars entering the industry
Over these last 35 years, Maruti-Suzuki brought out quite a big change in the Indian Automobile Industry and the use of cars. In a period of 10 years, Maruti-Suzuki reached a dominant position when 8 out of every 10 cars sold was Maruti-Suzuki!
In this scenario, Maruti-Suzuki has now increased the prices of its car models. The prices of the models from Maruti Alto to Maruti Premium Crossover the prices have been increased by Rs. 10000. Maruti has explained the reasons behind this price increase as the fluctuating exchange value of international currencies in the international market, etc.
