Supplementary Chewing gum for Vitamin deficiency

A latest experiment jots down the result of chewing gum with vitamin supplementation delivering vitamins into the salivary stream. This method of chewing gum for vitamin deficiency could be a great breakthrough in the era of nutrient negative issues all over the world.

The research conducted by Joshua Lambert, a professor at Pennsylvania State University in the US. A group was observed after providing supplementary gum products on the market.  Fifteen people gone through the whole observation with measured levels of seven identified vitamin in their plasma. Identical gum products without any kind of additional vitamin supplements are also used for a group testing the placebo effect.

Vitamins such as Retinol (A1), thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin amide (B3), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid, cyanocobalamin (B12), ascorbic acid (C), and alpha-tocopherol (E) were delivered into the saliva for the group chewing hum with supplements. Increased levels of water soluble vitamins are found out to be released in the salivary stream of supplement gum group compared to placebo group.

To the surprise the placebo group who had taken only normal gums were also observed with some vitamins streaming in their plasma. It is a break through research where supplements didn’t play a major role but the thoughts of confirming the subconscious mind working wonders. Future research should focus more on holistic drugless treatment with the help of such placebo related process.
