The total aggregate of 1200 in the current system for +2 public examinations comes to a close from the next year. Instead, the aggregate of 600 will be adopted from the next year.

The +2 public examination results were announced day-before-yesterday (16th May). 8.6 Lakhs students wrote and 91.1% of them passed. The temporary mark-sheets are to be distributed from 21st May.

In this situation, the system that has been followed over the last 40 years of the aggregate of 1200 marks with 200 marks for each of the 6 subjects in +2 comes to a close with this year.

As the various entrance examinations are the latest popular trend, it was decided to conduct the public examinations for the +1 class as well.

Subsequently, the system of the total of 200 marks for each subject is changed to 100. This is to be implemented from the current academic year.

As per this, for +1, a total of 600 will be followed for 6 subjects with 100 marks each. For +2, this system will be introduced from the next academic year. Thus, the prevailing system of the aggregate of 1200 marks comes to a close this year.

Further, the system of issuing an exclusive mark certificate for +2 alone is also coming to a close.

From the next academic year, a certificate for +1 and another for +2 will be issued separately. Finally, an integrated certificate combining the +1 and +2 performance will be issued.
