Intensity of summer heat will be most severe in Tamil Nadu this year

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the intensity of summer would be the most severe this year as compared to the normal.
Due to the thermal convection phenomenon, there are prospects of rain or rain with thunder in a few places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
Thus, the summer is expected to be severe this year in Tamil Nadu. The intensity of heat will depend on the hot winds blowing from Andhra.
The Director of the Chennai Meteorological Centre, S. Balachandran, informed that the rains would be 90% more than the last year on an All India basis.
