Hottest day of the year in Chennai with temperature crossing 36 C for 1st time this year

As expected it turns out to be the Hottest day of the year with Chennai City temperature crossing 36 degrees Celsius for the first time this year. The temperature is expected to range between 35-36.5 degrees Celsius in the coming days and this is not heat wave and is still manageable compared other parts of India where temperature are sizzling above 40 degrees Celsius. The Vellore-Tiruttani belt is expect to get temperature of around 40 degrees Celsius today.
