Prospects of heavy rains in a few places in Tamil Nadu

Due to the cyclonic format developed in the upper layers of the atmosphere and the occurrence of thermal convection phenomenon, it has been raining with thunder in several places in Tamil Nadu.
In this situation, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of heavy rain with thunder in a few places in the districts near the Western Ghat mountain range.
