The prickly summer heat! Uh, that’s too sultry, isn’t it? Not just to you, but for the technologically advanced gadgets and devices you use! Don’t just care for your body, but do the same to your gadgets as well – smartphones, tablets, and laptops need the same care as well, because the internal components intact inside them may be damaged permanently. It may lead to miniature circuit board and overheated battery. Further, exposing your mobile screen to direct sunlight can lead to pixelate, cracks or touch sensitivity getting unresponsive.

So, to keep your mobile screen safe even during summer, here are a few tips

While you protect your skin with skin-friendly cotton clothes and being in air-conditioned room, you got to protect your phone in the same way too failing which sun can simply burn it out just the way it does to your skin. If you feel your skin or body to be too hot, you can naturally understand that your phone feels the same amount of heat too.

Away from direct sun, please

Always make sure to keep your phone away from direct sun rays. Importantly, never leave it in a hot car. Carry your phone in a purse or pouch. Remember that your phone may get overheated by being in your pocket and no inside any pouch.

Remove its case

Aren’t you wearing a loose and free outfit to beat the heat? Do the same to your smartphone as well. Take off its case. Though the case can keep your phone protected, it can also suffocate your phone and keep the heat intact.

Whereas, when you want to head out to the pool or beach, it is ideal for you to get a waterproof cover. In case you observe your phone getting overheated, just try removing the case, and keep it in any place where there is no splash of water.

Let it enjoy some free time too

One of the other major causes for overheating of cellphones is overuse. Extensive usage of mobile phone to make calls, take pictures or videos or watching videos may demand more work from the lithium ion battery, as it is responsible to produce more energy and heat. When there is any increase in temperature, it can worsen things because it furthermore surges the heat in addition to the external heat it experiences.

So, whenever you enjoy some free time, simply shut down the mobile apps that are of very limited usage. Camera, game apps, etc. have very high-intensity usage. You may also try out reducing screen brightness or turn on airplane mode for saving more power. Ultimately, make sure to have its battery functioning cool!

If you are careless with your phone, your phone can get shut down by itself as it receives alert from its temperature sensor. In a few cases, the battery may even explode out of eventual physical damage.

Slowly, cool down its temperature

If your phone gets overheated, what are you supposed to do? Turn it off, remove the case, and take out the battery if you can. Keep it in shade without getting in contact with direct sunlight. Or you can try placing it in an air-conditioned room. Allow it to get slowly cooled down. Remember to cool it down SLOWLY as speed cooling may lead to condensation, thus worsening the condition.
