Job market in Coimbatore is on the rise says a survey

Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu is grabbing the attention now. It is known that in this superb city of Coimbatore or Kovai there are many industries.
The latest news is due to the growth in manufacturing and retail sector, the job market in Coimbatore is increasing and people living in this Kovai city must feel happy and proud because of this.
It is interesting to note that job market in Kovai grew at a rate faster than the India’s job market in the month of February 2018. It is shocking that Chennai city trailed national growth rates.
According to Monster Employment Index, city of Coimbatore had 23 percent year on year or YoY in the online recruitment process. This is high when compared to the 16 percent YoY that was recorded for entire India.
People living in the city of Chennai would be surprised to find that Chennai had just 5 percent YoY growth and was far behind many cities in India. It is important to note that the city of Kolkata had the highest growth rate of 45 percent. This was followed by cities such as Baroda, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Kochi and Coimbatore.
Overall growth in manufacturing 59 %, retail 13% and appliances 59 % in India is responsible for the growth or increase in the recruitment activities. There has been steady demand from the clients across different sectors and this point was confirmed by the recruitment companies.
Chief executive officer of CIEL HR Services Mr. Aditya Narayan Mishra expressed his thoughts and said there is movement of traditional, long standing FMCG plus other retail companies towards organised retail. He also spoke about how these companies are recruiting more and more.
Many large retail outlets plus other appliances companies have commenced major structuring plans for their business in the future and as a result these companies are recruiting in the city of Coimbatore more.
