Polio drops administration camp tomorrow (11th March)

The 2nd Phase of polio drops administration camps for the children under 5 years of age will be conducted tomorrow (Sunday, 11th March) under the Chennai Metro Corporation.
Camps have been set up in 1540 centres to administer polio drops to 7.5 Lakhs children.
Polio drops administration camps are set up incorporation welfare centres, government hospitals, government schools, government pharmacies, nutrition meal centres, private hospitals, and train and bus stations.
The families who have shifted from other states to Chennai for their jobs can also bring their children to the camps for the administration of polio drops.
The camps will function non-stop from 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
67000 government (corporation) staff and volunteers from the social helping centres are engaged in this activity.
Though some children might have already been administered with polio drops, they can be given the same again in this camp.
There are 41 mobile camps also organized for this purpose.
Hence, the parents are advised and strongly requested to take their children under 5 years of age to these camps and get polio drops administered.
