Scattered moderate snow is likely over Jammu and Kashmir, while scattered light to moderate snow is anticipated over Himachal Pradesh and one or two places over Uttarakhand.
The foothills of Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttarakhand will witness rain and thundershowers during the latter part of the day.
Scattered rains are also expected over southern parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya will also see isolated rains.
Fairly widespread dense to very dense fog is possible over most parts of Punjab, while scattered moderate to dense fog may occur over Haryana and isolated very dense is anticipated over Rajasthan.
Indo Gangetic plains of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and parts of northeastern states may also record moderate fog.
