Honda Activa sales reach a new milestone

While comparing the sales of all 2-wheelers in India in the last 7 years, it is found that around 20 lakhs of Honda Activa scooters have been sold.
During the financial year 2012-13, 7.3 Lakhs Honda Activa scooters were sold. As compared to this, during the financial year 2017-18, 20 lakh Honda active scooters have been sold. This is a phenomenal sales growth of 180%.
In the year 2009, many changes on the technology and latest features were carried out on the Activa scooters with 102.9 cc engine were introduced. This met with a huge popularity from the customers – especially the features of CPS and Tubeless tyres. In the year 2012-13, the total sales of Activa crossed 50 Lakhs.
When the Activa model was introduced with fuel-saving features in the year 2004, it met with a huge popular response from its customers for the new technology.
The recently introduced improved model of Honda Activa had attractive features such as BS-4 engine, automatic front lights, and new charging boards.
