Get 50GB at Rs 999 on Bharti Airtel

In collaboration with smartphone maker Karbonn Mobiles, Bharti Airtel has come up with 4G smartphone for Rs 1,399 on Tuesday. This is a move aiming to combat with Reliance Jio’s substantial reach in the economy category. New data plans are likely to be launched targeting all its high-end users.
In addition to trying to match with Reliance Jio offers, Airtel is also trying to launch plans, schemes, and handset models for meeting Jio’s claims in telecom industry.
For Rs 999, the company has come up with new postpaid plans in the name myPlan Infinity. This primarily targets heavy data users. As per the new plan, users will enjoy 50 GB data and free unlimited voice calls including roaming.
This plan comes with rollover promise where users will be able to carry over the data to the next month billing. There is also no cap on daily data usage.
With the new smartphone from Airtel, the company will also be able to maintain their leverage in market share. The effective price of the device is Rs 1,399. Users need to pay Rs 2,899 of which Rs 1,500 will be made as refund. For this, the users will have to abide by all the terms and conditions listed.
Users need to make use of the device for at least 18 months for getting Rs 500 as refund. On completing 36 months of usage, Rs 1000 will be refunded. In this period, Rs 3000 worth recharge is also mandatory so as to obtain Rs 500 as refund. In the remaining 18 months, they will have to spend Rs 3000 to be eligible for Rs 1000 refund.
