Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 500 get facelift

A few changes and updates are made to the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 500 models to match the needs of Indian market.
 
The Classic series from the renowned Chennai-manufacturer has come up with 2 new color schemes. They are Gunmetal Grey in Classic 350 and Stealth Black in Classic 500.
 
These bikes will also get the addition of rear disc brake and swing arm. Both these are inspirations from the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500.
 
Bookings for these two vehicles: Classic 350 and Classic 500 shall begin from 18th September 2017. The on-road Chennai price of these bikes will be that the Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey will be sold for Rs 1.59 lakh and Classic 500 Stealth Black model will be sold for Rs 2.05 lakh.

There is no official company release so far. However, with the images circulating in the web so far, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Classic 500 will have an extra swing arm taken out from the present Thunderbird series.
 
There is no specific change in terms of its features as the split seats, automatic headlamp functioning, BS-IV complaint engines, etc are the same.
 
The Classic 350 comes with a 346 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine capable of producing 19.8 bhp and 28 Nm peak torque when coupled with a 5-speed gearbox.
Coming on to Classic 500, it has 499 cc single cylinder air-cooled engine capable of producing 27.2 bhp and 41.3 Nm peak torque. This also comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
 
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Redditch Edition in Green
This is at present the best-selling bike model out of all line-ups in the company. The Redditch edition of Classic 350 was launched in the beginning of this year. This comes with new color schemes, as a homage to Royal Enfield for bikes of 1939.
