OPS joins EPS, says Ammas blessings made it possible

At the AIADMK party headquarters, O. Panneerselvam and E. Palaniswami have announced the merger of AIADMK. After taking oath as the deputy CM, it is said that Palaniswami will remain the CM of Tamil Nadu.
At Raj Bhavan, OPS sworn in as the deputy CM of TN. For the event, E. Palanswami and O. Panneerselvam have reached the Raj Bhavan. It is likely that the AIADMK-led cabinet will widen itself following OPS’s position as deputy CM.
The leader of AIADMK Saraswathi, in her note to the media said she wants everyone to be together. It is good that the two factions have joined hands and there should never be a split anymore, she said. She also hinted that TTV Dinakaran may address the media soon.
After swearing in, OPS and EPS as popularly called, the two went on to Jayalalitha’s memorial and paid respect. There was a huge crowd gathered there. With this, the two factions have wiped away the disagreements that ages beyond 7 months.
So, with this, OPS shall henceforth function under the incumbent CM – EPS. And Panneerselvam will be the convener of the party whereas Palaniswami will be the co-convener.
Speaking about this, OPS says the party cadres have made this merging possible with all the blessings of Amma.
