Madras is the motherland for Chicken 65 - do you know that?

How many of you are fond of Chicken 65? There could be hardly anyone to say No to those crunchy, delicious pieces! Ever wondered where its history begun? It was in your own city – Chennai! Yes, it was in Buhari Hotel that it originated. In the year 1965, Buhari Hotel on Mount Road introduced the dish. It was initially called as Chicken 78 and later as Chicken 82 and Chicken 90 in the year 1978, 1982 and 1990 respectively.
 
Zero point in Chennai:
You would have crossed the path a lot of times! How many of you have observed this milestone called the Zero Point of Chennai city. It is located in the centre of Muthuswamy Bridge which is obscure. There are messily painted wordings on it which most of us fail to even give a glimpse.
 
Chennai during First World War:
During the First World War, the only Indian city to have got attacked by the Central Powers was Chennai. Emden, a German Cruiser bombarded Madras on 22nd September 1914 at night. In spite of damaging the city a little, the British morale got blew away and thousands of people went away from the city. There was fancy shooting by Emden that caused severe damage. A lot of unexploded shells got scattered throughout the city.
