Aadhar mandatory to write 10th and 12th public exams

It has been announced that it is mandatory that Aadhar card number must be furnished in the application forms for writing the 10th and 12th Standard Public Examinations.
It is expected that around 15 Lakhs students will be writing the public examinations during this current academic year. So, the activity of collecting all the particulars of these students are in full swing.
For the students studying in schools, forms have been distributed to gather these data. It has been mandatory that while filling up this form, the Aadhar card number and the cell phone number and gender of the parents or guardians.
Once the above data gathering is completed, the detail of how many students would be writing the Public Examinations this academic year will be officially furnished on the government website.
