Road Safety awareness program by Thozhan

In a push to create an accident-free nation, Thozhan, a social reforming group has taken an initiative to conduct a Road Safety awareness program. They have been organizing the event since January 2013 across all major traffic signals in Chennai city.
As the 71st Independence Day is fast approaching, Thozhan has planned to conduct the awareness program in 71 corporation parks in Chennai city.
· The public should be made aware of road safety
· And they should also be alerted about Samaritan act. They should be given a brief about what to do in case of emergency and when someone needs first aid to be given.
The above two are the primary intentions of the road safety program. For this, Thozhan has planned to conduct the following:
· Address the public and educate them about road safety and Samaritan act
· Create awareness with placards display and pamphlet distribution
· 1-minute street play or mime about road safety
· Demonstration of first aid and golden hour response by experts
