The new price list for movie tickets in theatres

New rates for movie tickets have been fixed after inclusion of GST. If the ticket price is more than Rs. 100, the GST slab will be 28%.
If the ticket is less than Rs. 100, GST slab is 18%. Thus, the ticket which cost Rs. 120 will now be Rs. 153 and the ticket which cost Rs. 100 will be Rs.118.
Rs. 90 ticket will cost Rs. 106. Rs. 50 ticket will cost Rs. 59. In the case of online booking, an additional Rs. 30 has to be paid apart from the ticket price.
