Film Producers Association decides to release new movies on DTH

The Film Producers’ Association has decided to release new movies on DTH (Direct To Home) mode and also to create a special new App on the smartphones for the release of new movies.
The movie theatres all over Tamil Nadu have gone on an indefinite strike protesting against the GST implementation.
This leads to a situation where the employees in the film industry have to face extreme hardships.
In this scenario, the Film Producers’ Association conducted a meeting with the directors and actors.
During this meeting, it was decided to release new movies on DTH and also to create an exclusive App for the release of movies.
It was explained that these decisions were taken primarily in order to eliminate pirated VCDs in the industry.
