Tomorrow is the last day for applying to Group-2A examinations

Tomorrow (Friday, 26th May) is the last day for applying to write the TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) Group-2A examinations.
1953 vacancies exist in various posts in several government departments - Assistant (Secretariat), Anchor Clerk (TNPSC), Stenographers and Typists (Office of the Legislative Assembly).
TNPSC had released an announcement for this. The online registration of applications commenced on 27th April. The minimum academic qualification required is graduation. The candidates should be in the age group 18-30. However, for the reserved quota and the destitute widows belonging to any community, the age limit is exempted.
Applications can be sent online on the official TNPSC website: www.tnpsc.gov.in.
The written examination is scheduled to be conducted throughout Tamil Nadu in several centres on 6th August.
Group-2A examination/selection system does not have any interview sessions. It is notable that just the success in the Group-2A written examination guarantees a job.
In the written examination, there will be 100 questions from the General Knowledge segment. The applicants have to select one out of General English or General Tamil. 100 questions of objective type will be asked on this section. The full syllabus detail is given in the TNPSC website.
