Prospects of cyclonic winds in Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has warned that today (Saturday, 29th April), there are good prospects of cyclonic winds and rain with thunder on a few places in 19 districts in the state of Tamil Nadu including Vellore, Dharmapuri, Salem, Trichy, and Madurai.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre slated that due to the excessive heat in the last few days, cyclonic winds will blow across the interior districts. The centre pointed that the excessive heat phenomenon is experienced in the state even well before the hottest part of the summer known as Agni Nakshatram.
The excess heat absorbs the moisture in the air entirely leading to convert the winds blowing from other directions into cyclonic form. There are prospects of a hailstorm in a few places. There may be rains in a few places in the interior districts and 1 or 2 places in the coastal districts.
There are prospects of rain with cyclonic winds and thunder in the next 24 hours in the 19 interior districts - Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, Namakkal, Nilgiri, Tirupur, Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Trichy, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar, Theni. Dindigul, and Madurai.
