YMCA Madras - Free Prostate Cancer awareness program

YMCA Madras Health and Environment Committee & Indian Prostate Cancer Foundation conducted an awareness program on 19th April 2017 at 04:00 pm at YMCA Vepery.
The programme commenced with an Opening Prayer by Mr. David Arumugam, Vice - Chairman Health & Environment Committee. Mr. Raguram, Director of Indian Prostate Cancer Foundation, extended a warm Welcome to the gathering. Dr. M. Rajaram, IAS (Retd) Former Principal Secretary to Government, Information Department gave the chief guest address & also spoke about the early prediction of Prostate Cancer. Dr. Ananthakrishnan Sivaraman, Senior Consultant Urologist and Robotic Surgeon & Founder, IPCF gave a presentation talk on Prostate Cancer symptoms & treatments which could be done.
Mr. K. Gopalakrishnan, (Yoga Therapist) gave brief explanation on the advantage of Yoga for Prostate Cancer. Mrs. Gayathri Ananthakrishnan, proposed the vote of thanks. Program was organized by YMCA conveners Mr. R. Richard Ezekiel, Mr. Ivan Sunil Daniel, Mr. S. J. Christwright Johnsingh & Mr. A. Alwin Raja. Here is the event photos.
