Posted on: 18/Apr/2017 10:10:15 AM
CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) had earlier announced that the hall tickets for writing NEET would be uploaded on the internet on 15th April.

Meanwhile, the students had filed a petition in the Supreme Court objecting to the condition that candidates above 25 years of age cannot write NEET. The Supreme Court quashed this condition on age limit. It also gave 5 days extension period to apply for writing NEET.

Subsequently, the candidates started applying from 1st April for writing NEET.

As per the earlier announcement, the deadline for applying got over by midnight on 5th April.

Because of the above developments, there was a delay in uploading the hall tickets on the internet.

Presently, CBSE has announced that the hall tickets would be uploaded on the internet on 22nd April in the website cbseneet.nic.in.

NEET is scheduled to be conducted in 220 centres in 104 cities throughout India including Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Trichy, Namakkal, Tirunelveli, and Vellore.

NEET is conducted in 10 languages including Tamil, English, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.

The results of NEET is scheduled to be released on 8th June.
