Heavy rain overnight on Yesterday(september 7) in chennai and sub areas.Rain started at about 11pm on Friday and continued till today morning,paralyzing life and causing waterlogging in many areas.It inundated many roads in the city and suburbs, and brought rush hour traffic to a standstill on many arterial roads.
Rain which vapourises sea water and increases the moisture content in the air.
