Water supply disruption in South Chennai

The Nemmeli desalination plant, which supplies water to several areas in South Chennai, will be shut for routine maintenance from 6am on February 16 to 6am on February 19.
Water supplies will be disrupted at Adyar, Besant Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, parts of Velacherry and Tharamani, Kottivakkam, Palavakkam, Perungudi, ECR (Neelankarai and Injambakkam), Old Mahabalipuram Road (Okkiam Thoraipakkam, Karappakam, Sholinganallur, Semencheri).
The Metro Water has requested the public to store the water in advance and in case of water requirement, people should contact the respective area engineers.
