Rains in Tamil Nadu from Jan 20th to Jan 26th

The north east monsoon rains have failed in Tamil Nadu. Due to this the farmers are not able to cultivate crops. The northeast monsoon season is over. At this juncture a new low pressure has been formed in Thailand.
S.Balachandran, Director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, said: A new low pressure has been formed near Thailand. In the same area there is also overlay rotation. This system will move westwards and reach Tamil Nadu but this will weaken. Due to this system, there will be rains in Tamil Nadu from Jan 20th to Jan 26th. In one or two places there are chances of heavy rains. Until 19th the weather will be dry in Tamil Nadu.
