The northeast monsoon rain has come to an end, and there is going to be a shift in climate in the coming days. We may experience higher degrees of coldness, say meteorological sources.
Chillness to intensify
In his statement about this, S. Balachandran, the director of Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai stated that the northeast monsoon had come to an end yesterday. The sea wind blowing from northeast has also come to an end and in the following days, there is going to be only ground air. In Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry, the temperature will lessen by 2 degrees and we will be experiencing very cold weather.
The normal temperature will be 22 degree and it may intensify as well. At present, low pressure prevails between Andaman and Sumatra. It is likely to grow as a low pressure zone.
