It had been announced earlier that the government holiday for Miladi Nabi would be on Monday, 12th December.
However, Chief Gaji had written a letter to the Tamil Nadu State Government that Rafiul Avval Crescent was visible on 30th November and hence Miladi Nabi would be celebrated on 13th December. He had requested the state government to cancel the earlier announcement and declare the Miladi Nabi holiday on 13th December (Tuesday).
The State government considered this request and scrutinised and decided to announce that 13th December would be declared as a holiday for Miladi Nabi.
A government Order has been accordingly issued.
