Tirupathi Temple corridors to be closed for 11 hours due to Lunar Eclipse on 4th April!

Lunar eclipse falls on 4th April this year.
Lunar eclipse will last from 3.45 PM till 7.15 PM.
Tirupathi temple corridors will be closed during this period.The temple will remain closed from 9.30 AM till 8.00 PM.
Then the temple premises will be cleaned and ‘Parihara Pooja will be performed. Then, devotees will be allowed to enter the temple.
The regular Poojas & services like Kalyana Utsavam, Dole Utsavam, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Vasantha Utsavam and Shasradeepa Alankara Utsavam are all cancelled for the day due to Lunar Eclipse.
During the last day of the yearly Vasantha Utsavam, `thirumanjanam’ will be performed between 5.00 AM & 6.30 AM at the Vasantha Mandapam. The main deities will be taken back inside the temple before 9.30 AM.
