Prospects of rain for 3 days (from today) in some places in Tamil Nadu!

Tamil Nadu experienced chill weather in the night for the last 2 months due to snowfall. This chillness had reduced in the last 2 days.
The sun was quite severe throughout the last week. From yesterday morning till evening, the weather was cloudy in Chennai and neighbourhood. At the same time, it remained quite hot.
Chennai Meteorological Department has announced that there will be some rain in Tamil Nadu from today (Tuesday, 3rd March) for 3 days till 5th March.
The director of the meteorological centre informed that these is there is a cyclic depression formed in the top atmospheric layer over Kanyakumari. Hence, there will be rains in some places in Tamil Nadu till 5th March.
On completion of 24 hours till 8.30 AM yesterday (Monday, 2nd March), Tirupur recorded 3 cm rain. Chathirappatti near Ottanchathiram recorded 2 cm rain.Kodaikkanal recorded 1 cm rain. There was rain in 70 places throughout Telengana. There were rains in the states of Andhra, Karnataka, and Kerala as well.
