Ban on single cigarette sales - Central Minister for Health Mr. JP Nadda

Central Minister for Health Mr. JP Nadda informed in the Rajya Sabha he has taken the recommendation of the experts to ban on single cigarette sales.
This decision has been taken on the recommendation of a forum formed by WHO.
This is expected to prevent young boys taking to cigarette smoking.
Following the announcement on the ban on sales of single cigarette sales, the share price of ITC, the premier cigarette manufacturer in India, came down by 5%. NIFTY recorded a fall of 1.1%.
