Price of Aavin milk to be increased before December

Reliable sources from Aavin inform that the government has planned to increase the price of Aavin milk by 30% before December.
When compared with the prices of private milk sellers, the price of Aavin is relatively very less. This has resulted in heavy demand. Aavin cooperative society sells around 21.50 Lakh Litres of milk daily. In Chennai city alone, 11.50 Lakh Litres of milk is sold daily.
Aavin officials explained that the price of Aavin milk remains low when compared with other brands. The private milk producers keep increasing the buying prices regularly. Following this, it is planned to increase the price of Aavin milk before December.
