First International Digital Photographic Salon in Chennai

Photographic Society of Madras (PSM) is organizing First International Digital Photographic Salon at Lalit Kala Akademi till May 4. 466 winning photographs from 22 countries will be on display from today at Lalit Kala Akademi .Out of 1,600 entries, 466 photos were selected by a panel of judges. The themes of the photos will be `open`, `photo travel`, `nature` and `macro`. There is also a special category for PSM members.
On show are photographs from Argentina, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, UK and other countries. Workshops on subjects such as `conceptual portraiture`, `landscape photography` and other technical aspects of digital photography will be held during the week.
