The facility of online property registration in all e-service centres

It has been planned to introduce the facility of online property registrations in the government e-service centres.
There are 50 district registrar offices and another 525 property registration centres in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The facility of online property registration was introduced in these offices on 13th February. Thus, online property registration has been in progress from 13th February in the state.
However, as some problems were encountered in the operating software, presently, only direct registration is in process.
Activities have been initiated to solve the problem and it is planned to implement the registration of properties only online shortly.
Currently, 63 various government services, including the issue of income certificate, birth/death certificate, etc., are processed and issued to the public in the government e-service centres.
The latest to join the above services will be the online property registration in the e-service centres.
It is expected that this service would be made available in the government e-service centres.
