Aloe Vera is an ancient plant species with various medicinal properties ranging from Skin care, Digestion, Nutrient Properties and also an Immune-booster.

Aloe Vera is commonly used in alternate medicinal branches for the treatment of diabetes which has many evidences reversing the blood sugar levels to normal with proper dieting conditions. Likewise it is used as a laxative to improve digestion and for developing gut bacteria. The plant has many advantages over physical health but in some ways it is over hyped recently in terms of weight loss.

Yes. Aloe Vera can act as an effective agent to help weight loss by reducing the excess water content in the body. But it is not a stand-alone medicine for the weight loss. Diet and Exercise plays a major role in weight loss and the plant supplements like Aloe Vera and herbs like Ashwagandha can only support the whole body system.

  • It acts as an anti-inflammatory supplement boosting the digestion and also helps in curing Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
  • Aloe Vera can boost the gut flora aiding proper bacterial growth inside the stomach.

  • Aloe Vera acts an effective nutrient supplier for our body, having sources for Vitamin A, C and E. The fiber properties helps largely in constipation.

Consumption

For a 50 ml of Aloe Vera extract add one full glass of water and consume it daily on an empty stomach. It should be not be consumed for more than a month as it can reverse the good effects by rebounding constipation and causes gastro-intestinal issues.

Risks

Feeding Mothers should avoid Aloe Vera juice as it can cause constipation in infants. Also people having under-weight and low sugar must avoid this plant, as it may cause dizziness and weakness.
