Pension calculator application to get launched today

To all the central government employees who are about to get retired, a mobile application is to be launched. This will monitor the progress of pension settlement.
For retired employees, it will be possible to assess their superannuation funds and file complaints, if any through the pension calculator, reads an official announcement by the Personnel, Public grievances and Pensions Ministry said.
To note, there is already an existing pensioners’ portal for meeting this purpose.
It further said that the mobile app get expanded to mobile handset providing all the services offered to pensioners that are available on the portal of Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare.
A superannuating central government will thus be able to keep track of the progress with their respective pension settlement. Further, the retired officials can also gain access and check details about their pension amount via pension calculator, and file their grievances and receive regular updates from the department.
The Minister of State for Personnel, Public grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh shall launch the app.
Anubhav is an exclusive platform run for retiring employees to share their experience working with the government. Those pensioners who make exclusive contribution to Anubhav shall also be awarded.
