Vishal Sikka resigns as Infosys CEO & MD

Vishal Sikka, MD, and CEO of the leading Infotech organisation, Infosys, has resigned from his post suddenly.
The Higher officials Board has accepted his resignation. In his resignation letter, Mr. Vishal Sikka has mentioned that he has resigned because of some persistent problems.
Meanwhile, U. B. Pravin Rao has been appointed as the interim Managing Director.
Vishal Sikka has been offered the post of Executive Vice-President.
It may be noted that Mr Vishal Sikka was the 1st outsider, not being one of the Infosys Founders, to lead Infosys.
