Online property registration mandatory from 15th November

All activities have been completed to facilitate online property registration in all the 578 registration offices in the state of Tamil Nadu from 15th November.
Once this online registration facility comes into operation, the persons registering their properties can get the related ownership deeds in a matter of minutes.
Presently, the facility for online registration of properties is available in 154 registration offices in Tamil Nadu. The activities to extend this facility to all the remaining registration is in progress.
The reputed IT company TCS has provided all the latest computer-related equipment and the registration personnel for the initial period.
This new online registration system as the procedure for the veracity (originality) of the document to be verified in each phase of the registry and correct the errors, in case they are found.
The online property registration facility will thus be implemented to function in all the registration offices from 15th November.
The senior officials from the Department of registration are in the process of obtaining the date and time from the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister of the state to officially announce the inauguration of this facility. This would enable to get all the related registration documents in a few minutes.
