Fish Finger - restaurant style

Here is the recipe for Fish Finger made of Indian style. Fish Finger is among the most favorite dishes for kids. It is nice for snacking. Prepared with fresh fish pieces cut into fillet shapes, these are tiny delights kids would enjoy. The fish pieces are marinated with exclusively made masala and it is deep fried and served crisp! Required ingredients
  • Fish – 0.5 kg
  • Channa dal powder or Basen – 2 tablespoons
  • Turmeric powder – a pinch
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tablespoon
  • Garam masala – 0.75 spoons
  • Coriander powder – 0.5 spoon
  • Cumin powder – 0.5 spoon
  • Ginger garlic paste – 0.5 spoon
  • Curry leaves – a few
  • Lemon – 1
  • Salt – as required
  • Bread crumbs – 2 tablespoons
Cooking procedure
  • Step 1 - Take a bowl and add lemon juice, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder, curry leaves, and ginger garlic paste in the quantities mentioned above. Mix them altogether.
  • Step 2 - Take the freshly cut fish pieces and dip them in the mix you have just prepared
  • Step 3 - Separately, take a plate and mix bread crumbs and basen.
  • Step 4 - Take the dipped fishes and dust them in this bread crumb mix
  • Step 5 - Take a pan and add enough oil for deep frying. Deep fry the dipped fish pieces and deep fry them until they turn golden brown in color.
  • Step 6 - Once the fishes get cooked and turns brown, remove from oil and squeeze a little amount of lime juice. Now it is read for serving. Enjoy the delicacy!
