Prospects of rain today in Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that due the recent formation of a cyclonic format in the upper layers of the atmosphere, it may rain in several places in Tamil Nadu today (Wednesday, 13th September).
It has been raining since last few days in several places in the state of Tamil Nadu due to the cyclonic formats in the upper layers of the atmosphere. In this situation, it has been announced that the rain may persist in several places in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in the next 4-5 days.
The Chennai Metro city will remain cloudy. There are prospects of light rain n a few places in the city.
